Location
The St. George Island Youth Regatta is to held at Bob Sikes Cut, located on St. George Island.

St George Island is located about seventy five miles east of Panama City and seven miles out in the gulf, south of Apalachicola. Apalachicola Bay is the Oyster and Seafood capital of Florida. The shallow water bay is great for the productin of shrimp, crab, oysters and scallops. It's a great place for sailing Hobies. Our scouts favorite place to sail is to one of the other islands, where you can find a completly uninhabited place of sun and sand. We love to camp and fish at the jetties. Hobies are fast and provide a sense of freedom, as you can travel all over the bay and visit four different towns without the use of a car. For lunch take along a bottle of hotsauce and an oyster Knife.
