The Italian HC 16 National Championship year 2000 will take place at San Vincenzo in Tuscany

In June from the 8th to the 11th

The small town San Vincenzo, situated on the Tuscany coast just north of the Isle Elba, is easy to reach taking the highway called Aurelia from the main autoroutes.

This part of Tuscany is well known for its famous archaeological sites, the red wine, good food, great landscape and beautiful beaches. There are plenty of accommodations in camping, hotels and private apartments.

The afternoon wind comes regularly around 13.00 o'clock and is generally 12 to 18 knots. This is one of the reasons why this part of the Italian coast is one of the favorite places for catamarans and windsurfers in Italy. By the way other classes like Dart, Formula 18 and Class A will also have their Nationals in this area during the year 2000.

All the sailors will enjoy the traditional hospitality of the Italian Sailing Clubs and the high technical level of the races. The event will be supervised by Italian Sailing Federation, which will appoint highly qualified Race Committee and Jury.
