Regatta Resources

Is your fleet planning a Hobie Class regatta? Planning to go to a Hobie regatta? The HCANA is here to help.

For organizers, we offer assistance in venue selection, planning, budgeting, insuring, race management and if you're ambitious - planning and executing an Area Championship or a North American Championship.

Area Championships are eligible for grant money from the HCANA to enhance the competitor experience. The Guest Expert Program will bring a champion sailor to your venue to give chalk talks and run drills - at the HCANA's expense. Both programs are guranteed to increase attendance and the event's bottom line - it's a win-win for everybody!

If you're planning to go to a regatta, no matter if it's your first or or 500th - we can help. There are programs to insure your boat and trailer. The Hobie University book can get you started with the basics. There are tuning guides for most of the active classes. Looking for a place to launch? The proper line and wire lengths for your boat? You've come to the right place!
